4 Million attacks in 3 months

So according to the article from https://www.infosecurity-magazine.com - Nearly 4 million attacks have occured in 3 months from January - march. This amount of attacks is unprecedented. 75% of attacks were information gathering and intrusion attempts. The main sectors targeted were: financial , technology, mining and retail.
